Between a Father and His Child

Gaining strength for each day,

Moment by moment.

Giving Him our heavy burdens,

Knowing he will carry them.

Walking with Him step by step,

Talking throughout the day.

Even as eyes close in sleep

His name is on the lips.

As a child cuddling 

In their Father’s arms,

All can rest in perfect peace.
